Teletoon has made changes to its marketing department, promoting Natalie Cunningham to director while bringing in Russell Ward, formerly of Astral Media, as the department’s new VP.
Ward, who put in seven years at Astral’s marketing wing, will oversee all consumer and trade marketing efforts at the cartoon channel and its digital off-shoots Teletoon Detour and Teletoon Retro.
Cunningham will continue to supervise the Teletoon brands while taking on added responsibilities in research, including the channel’s online advisory panel.
