Bo goes to Britain

Decode Enterprises has closed three deals in Europe for Bo on the GO!, sending the preschool property by its sister company Halifax Film to the U.K. and France. The series has been picked up by British kiddiecaster CITV and has also signed licensing/merchandising deals with Brandzoo, also in the U.K., and with France Televisions Distribution.

CITV will re-voice the main character, Bo, to better suit a British audience, says Decode.

CITV exec Emma Tennant praised the show’s educational and entertainment value. ‘Bo on the GO! ticks all of those boxes. I am thrilled to have acquired a programme that not only promotes an active lifestyle but also instills an active mind in children,’ she said in a statement.

The motion-capture and CG series is going into its third season on CBC, and also sold recently to France 5, Disney Channel Spain and M-Net/KTV in South Africa.
