Hollywood Suite has landed on the cable lineup at Shaw Communications and Shaw Direct.

The new carriage deal means the quartet of HD, commercial-free movie channels – WarnerFilms, MGM Channel, Sony Movie Channel and AXN Movies – will be available on Shaw Direct as an add-on for $6 a month.

Shaw Direct satellite TV subscribers will receive a free preview period until Dec. 2, and a 50% discount for the first three months to encourage sign-ups.

Shaw Direct’s new satellite, Telesat’s Anik G1, which launched in April, enabled the addition of 120 HD channels available to Shaw customers, including Hollywood Suite and other HD offerings.

Hollywood Suite is already available through Bell (Bell Fibe, Bell Aliant, Bell TV) and Rogers, as well as SaskTel, Cogeco, Telus, Eastlink, MTS, Access, Source Cable, VMedia and Westman Communications.
