Canadian producer Peacock Alley Entertainment has sold factual titles High Tech Rednecks (eight x 60-minutes, pictured) and Money Moron (24 x 30-minutes) to networks in Asia, Europe, Australia and Canada.
Discovery Asia, Discovery Poland, Australia’s Seven Network and RL Nitro Germany have picked up High Tech Rednecks, a Shark Teeth Films-produced docuseries that aired on Discovery Canada. The show follows redneck mechanics who build high-octane modifications for vehicles.
Meanwhile, Quebec’s TVA has acquired Money Moron, a financial advice series starring author Gail Vaz-Oxlade that originally aired in English-speaking Canada on cable net Slice.
The deals follow the launch of the company’s distribution division, which is headed by Craig McGillivray, and which will officially launch at MIPCOM.
