Gritty French police drama 19-2 was one of the night’s top winners at the Prix Gémeaux Gala in Montreal on Sunday.
The series, an English-language version of which is currently in production for Bell Media’s Bravo channel, took home nine awards in total, including Best Drama Series, Best Director: Drama Series (Podz) and Best Writing in a Drama Series (Danielle Dansereau, Réal Bossé, Claude Legault).
Also winning big was annual comedy special Bye Bye 2012, which took home 10 awards in total, including Best Performance: Comedy (Hélène Bourgeois Leclerc, Véronique Cloutier, Michel Courtemanche, Joël Legendre, Louis Morissette) and Best Special: Comedy.
The Best Soap Opera (téléroman) prize went to O’, Best Comedy to Les Parent and Best Reality Series saw Les Chefs take home the top prize.
