Equipment supplier William F. White International has signed a letter of intent to buy Location Equipment Supply.
Pending due diligence, the agreement will see Paul Potvin’s LES become Whites Locations Equipment Supply on or before Oct. 31.
The deal, once completed, will also create in Whites LES a one-stop equipment and locations support services supplier.
Potvin, who founded and has run LES as a principal for nearly two decades, will stay on with the company, which is around the corner from the William F. White Centre in west Toronto.
“Paul [Potvin] has built a tremendous company literally from the ground up,” said WFW chairman Paul Bronfman.
“His depth of experience and reputation for quality and reliability will only serve to complement WFW’s existing preeminent market leadership position,” he added.
The LES deal also follows WFW purchasing Telescopic Camera Cranes, now Whites Telescopic, exclusively representing FlyCam Canada’s aerial photography technology, and rebranding CinequipWhite as Whites Digital Sales & Service.
