Abraham upped at Breakthrough

Breakthrough Entertainment has promoted Nat Abraham to head of distribution, where he will be responsible for worldwide sales, presales and coproduction opportunities for the Toronto prodco, effective immediately.

A seasoned distribution exec, Abraham has held management positions at companies including Nielsen Media Research, 20th Century Fox and Astral Communications. He was formerly in charge of Canadian sales and acquisitions at Breakthrough, and was instrumental in recent pickups including the four-part series Science of the Senses, which aired on CBC, and the documentary Fraud Squad.

‘Nat has had a tremendous impact on our distribution division… as our new head of distribution he will continue to drive international sales as well as our growing library of programming,’ commented Breakthrough partner/executive producer Peter Williamson.
