Malcolm Dunlop is leaving Rogers Media as its top programming exec on Aug. 30.

The departure follows news last week that Claire Freeland, director of programming at the Canadian broadcaster, is leaving, with her last day on Sept. 30.

Sources at Rogers Media indicate that details on the evolving programming suite at City and its sister TV stations in the Rogers fold will be announced in the coming weeks.

Dunlop, as executive vice president of TV programming and operations, in recent years increased the primetime ratings at City with a string of U.S. comedies like Two Broke Girls and New Girl.

The conventional channel also rolled out new Canadian series like Seed, Bachelor Canada and the upcoming Storage Wars Canada.

Dunlop joined Rogers’ broadcast arm in 1985 with OMNI Television.
