Neal McDougall has joined the Writers Guild of Canada as director of policy.

McDougall will be responsible for identifying emerging policy issues in film, TV and digital media, and working on WGC initiatives in government consultation processes, CRTC hearings and government relations.

He previously worked at the Canada Media Fund as a policy analyst, where he worked in consultation, program design, guideline drafting and implementation as related to policy development.
