Brightlight Pictures and Uwe Boll (Dungeon Siege) are back at it, shooting The Storm in Vancouver with former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Luke Perry and The Guard’s Steve Bacic. Perry plays a mysterious stranger who takes refuge with a couple, played by Bacic and Lauren Holly of Navy NCIS, and their young son.

Boll directs from the Tim McGregor (Bitten) script. The movie is produced by Shawn Williamson and Dan Clarke, and exec produced by Andreas Olavarria.

‘We’re glad to have Uwe at the helm and we are very excited about this cast,’ says Williamson. Bacic recently wrapped season two of The Guard, also a Brightlight show.

E1 will distribute in Canada. Event Film is handling international sales.
