The Academy for Canadian Cinema and Television has opened its new online application process for the TV and digital media submissions for the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards.
The ACCT in June announced a partnership with digital media management company Yangaroo to bring the process online.
That includes the uploading of supporting audio-visual files, which previously required mailing of hard copies.
Juries will also receive secure links to streaming video clips for a more streamlined judging process.
“We are hoping this new online application process will expand the national reach of the Canadian Screen Awards even more,” ACCT director of awards and special events Louis Calabro said in a statement.
Deadlines for TV and digital media entries is Aug. 13, 2013. News and sports category deadlines are Sept. 3, 2013, as are Academy Special Awards deadlines.
Full rules and eligibilities for 2014 are available through the ACCT’s website.
