Decode Enterprises has inked two new international deals for Studio B Productions’ animated Kid vs Kat. Nickelodeon South East Asia and ABC Australia are the latest kidcasters to acquire the 26 x 22 series, created for a core kid audience of six to 11s.
‘This is a highly entertaining and original series,’ said Decode exec Josh Scherba in a statement. ‘We are confident of securing additional placement over the next few months.’
The series — created by Rob Boutilier and produced by Studio B, in association with YTV Canada and Jetix Europe — is set to air in more than 100 territories. It is about the conflict between a malevolent cat and a beleaguered young boy.
