Women in Film and Television – Toronto announced its board of directors for 2013-2014, elected following its annual general meeting on Wednesday night.
Rogers Media TV’s director of community liaison Melanie Farrell; research and rights clearances specialist Elizabeth Klinck; eOne Films Canada VP marketing and promotions Tamara Shannon and Shaw Communications HR director Bianca Williamson are newly elected directors.
“These impressive leaders bring a wealth of expertise to the organization in the areas of finance, marketing, fundraising and strategic planning. We’re grateful for their vision and commitment as we work toward significant growth in the coming years,” said WIFT-T executive director Heather Webb in a statement.
Board officers for the 2013-2014 term are chair Prentiss Fraser, vice-chair Joanna Webb, who replaces outgoing director Madeline Ziniak, treasurer Fiona Lee and secretary Samantha McWilliams.
Outgoing directors are Victoria Evans, Gaye McDonald and Muriel Soloman.
