The Banff World Media Festival on Thursday announced nine finalists for this year’s Shaw Media mentorship programs during the Alberta festival in June.

Chris Carter, Robyn Bigué, Lisa Nault and Heidi Burbela will participate in the Shaw Media Reality & Factual Entertainment and Showrunner Training Program.

And Shannon Masters, Danielle Shamash and Robyn Matlin, James Battiston, Stephanie Kaliner and Lauren Gosnell are the finalists for the Shaw Media Writer’s Apprentice program.

The finalists will attend the Banff World Media Festival on a full-access festival pass, and meet with North American and international showrunners, agents, broadcasters and funders.

The Banff World Media Festival takes place June 9 to 12, 2013.
