Montreal’s Fantasia International Film Festival has unveiled plans to bring its Frontières international co-production market to the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.
Fantasia in 2012 added a coproduction market as an adjunct to its long-running genre film market.
The Frontières market aims to forge working relationships between co-production partners to get genre projects into production.
Brussels will host the Frontières format starting in April 2014 as it follows the lead of genre coproduction markets at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival and the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
The next Frontières market in Montreal will take place in July 2013 as part of the Fantasia industry rendez-vous from July 25th to July 28th, 2013.
