Vérité Films has added three names to The Dealership, signing Tricia Helfer, William Devane and young Patrick J. Adams to the one-hour pilot about a family-run used car lot. At the same time, Fremantle Media Enterprises has signed on as the dark comedy’s worldwide distributor.

Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) will star as the ‘beautiful, tough as nails’ sales manager and daughter to its retired owner, played by Devane (the Jesse Stone franchise). Adams (The Butcher’s Daughter) will play her unreliable younger brother.

‘The wide appeal and power of these actors will take this pilot to another level. In their hands, the unusual characters will spring to life.’ said Canwest Broadcasting exec Christine Shipton in a release.
