Toronto-based producer Geordie Sabbagh’s Two Guys who Sold the World has won the VFF Talent Highlight Pitch Award at the Berlinale co-production market at the Berlin Film Festival, a 10,000 euro prize.
The market selected 10 projects out of 212 entries as part of the Berlin Talent Campus to be presented at the co-production market.
Two Guys who Sold the World follows a small town self-proclaimed genius forced to repair the UFO belonging to two aliens in time to stop the arrival of an invasion fleet planning to destroy t he world.
The film, written by Randall Lobb, will be directed by Patrick Boivin.
