Principal photography is underway on Atom Egoyan’s latest feature Queen of the Night.

Bruce Greenwood is joining the cast of the psychological thriller, which also stars Ryan Reynolds, Scott Speedman, Rosario Dawson and Mireille Enos.

Greenwood has appeared in four Egoyan films, including Exotica, The Sweet Hereafter, Ararat and the recently wrapped Devil’s Knot.

Kevin Durand and Alexia Fast also star.

Queen of the Night centres on Reynolds and Enos as the parents of an abducted child, who, through a series of disturbing clues, appears to still be alive eight years later. Speedman and Dawson star as the detectives working on the case.

The film, based on an original story by Egoyan with a screenplay by Egoyan and David Fraser, is co-produced by Ego Film Arts and The Film Farm.

Queen of the Night is produced by Egoyan, Simone Urdl, Jennifer Weiss and Stephen Traynor.

eOne is handling international sales and distributing t he film in Canada. ARP Selection will distribute Queen of the Night in France.

Queen of the Night will shoot in Sudbury, Ontario through February and then move to Niagara Falls and Toronto.
