Actress Crystal Lowe has been cast in Hot Tub Time Machine, taking a supporting role in the John Cusack comedy, now shooting in her hometown at Vancouver Film Studios.

The part puts Lowe alongside Cusack and costars Lizzy Caplan, Rob Corddry and Crispin Glover. The picture, as the title implies, follows four middle-aged buddies who travel back in time, via Jacuzzi, to visit their younger selves. It is due in theaters next year through MGM.

Lowe is represented by Tyman Stewart of The Characters Talent Agency. Her previous movies include leads in the 2006 redo of Black Christmas and Wrong Turn 2.

Hot Tub Time Machine is scheduled to wrap in early July. Steve Pink directs.
