Team Seven Entertainment producer and Toronto police officer Calum deHartog has signed with agent Larry Shuman’s management company, based in Culver City, just outside Los Angeles.
“I am confident that my team of Rob Kenneally at CAA and Larry Shuman in the U.S. marketplace and Michael Levine in Canada will allow me to continue to collaborate and develop content with some of the most creative minds in the world,” de Hartog said in a statement.
DeHartog is co-creator of the recently-premiered police procedural Cracked for the CBC, produced with White Pine Pictures, amongst his projects in the works.
He’s also shopping a draft of his adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s southern noir short story, Running out of Dog, in L.A., which is being packaged by CAA.
Among others, Shuman also reps Shawn Ryan, showrunner for The Shield and co-creator of Last Resort, starring Canadian Scott Speedman, and U.S.-based Canuck showrunner David Shore (House).
