Former Entertainment One Television executive-turned-indie producer Noreen Halpern has unveiled her new Los Angeles-based shingle, Halfire Entertainment.

Halpern is president of the new production company, with Stephanie Fontana, also ex-eOne, on board Halfire Entertainment as a development associate.

Ahead of the launch of Halfire Entertainment, Halpern and Canadian comedian and writer Bob Martin (Puppets Who Kill) join forces to develop a half-hour comedy series pilot for Shaw Media and ABC.

Her exit from eOne Television as president of dramatic programming was announced in February 2012.
