Principal photography has begun in Vancouver on Forever 16, the latest feature from Odyssey Media Inc.
The Canadian producer and distributor will produce the feature with U.S.-based Stanton W. Kamens Productions.
Directed by George Mendeluk, Forever 16 stars Tiera Skovbye (R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour, pictured) and Andrea Roth (Ringer, Rescue Me).
Skovbye plays a nonagenarian vampire, concealing her true identity by acting like an angsty teenager. Her lineage is discovered by an undercover cop, played by Roth, who convinces her to put her superhuman strength to good use as part of a covert team.
Forever 16 is produced by Kirk Shaw and exec produced by Stanton W. Kamens and Jeffrey Schenck.
The film, which will shoot in and around Vancouver, is slated to premiere in 2013 on the Lifetime Network in the U.S.
