Temple Street Productions and FremantleMedia have sold the Canadian Recipe to Riches TV format to Network Ten in Australia.

The Aussie version, Recipe to Riches Australia, will debut in spring 2013.

The Network Ten series will include a tie-in with the supermarket chain Woolworths and will be produced by FremantleMedia Australia.

The Canadian reality competition series (pictured) sees home cooks battle for a cash prize and the chance to have their original recipe chosen and sold nationwide in a supermarket chain.

Shaw Media launched the original Recipe to Riches series, which is back for a second season on Food Network Canada.

FremantleMedia earlier sold the Canadian format to Slovakia and the Czech Republic, where a local version launched in August 2012.
