Canadian distributor Phase 4 Films has picked up the North American rights to Sarah Siegel-Magness’ Long Time Gone for a spring 2013 release.

The drama stars Virginia Madsen (pictured), Amanda Crew and Zach Gilford, as it portrays a Connecticut resident who has a nervous breakdown after discovering her husband is having an affair.

“We are thrilled to be working with Sarah on her directorial debut after her past success as a producer,” Phase 4 president and CEO Barry Meyerowitz said in a statement.

Phase 4 plans to release Long Time Gone day-and-date at the multiplex, and on VOD and digital platforms.
