Anlina Rana is the recipient of the 2012 Deluxe Producer Internship, announced Monday by Women in Film and Television – Toronto.

The program provides one emerging female producer with training at the Deluxe Post-Production studios in Toronto.

Rana will begin the three-week internship in November, and will work with Toronto-based industry execs and technical experts to learn more about production and post-production equipment and processes.

Rana is currently working on a number of short films, music video treatments and documentaries, including The Bicycle Opera and Monastery Waltz (both in post). Her credits also include short films Restaurant Waltz and Last Call.

The internship will be formally presented at a WIFT-T reception Sept. 11 at the CBC building.
