Hopscotch Films co-founder Frank Cox has stepped down as president of the Australian distributor 18 months after it was acquired by Entertainment One.
Troy Lum will continue as head of Hopscotch/Entertainment One, which is based in Sydney and which founded in 2002 by Cox, Lum and Sandie Don.
“Frank has focused on supporting and developing Australian talent for over 30 years. His countless contributions to Hopscotch and the Australian film industry as whole have been remarkable,” Patrice Theroux, president of filmed entertainment at Entertainment One, said Monday in a statement.
“I am certain that Troy and Sandie will continue to lead the gifted and hardworking Hopscotch team and I’m excited to watch the business continue to grow,” Cox said in his own statement.
