A management shakeup at U.S. games maker THQ has seen Relic Entertainment co-founder Ron Moravek appointed executive vice president of production.
Moravek left Relic in 2006, two years after the Canadian games studio was sold to THQ.
He then completed an executive stint at Electronics Arts Canada and ran a couple software companies before now rejoining THQ to build new games.
“Ron is an exceptional development executive with unique perspective on the industry from both a creative and business point of view,” said THQ president Jason Rubin, to whom Moravek will report.
“I am thrilled to be re-joining THQ and to be working with Jason and the development teams around the world to deliver high-quality games and digitally connected experiences,” Moravek added in his own statement.
