It’s been Extreme Makeover: Canadian Edition as our top TV networks transform how they target audiences and work with advertisers. The goal is to successfully pilot their brands through web TV, social TV, addressable TV, and the likes of new competitors like Netflix Canada and Apple TV.
Playback Summit is bringing together top Canadian TV execs to talk about their multiplatform strategy to win over today’s viewers – who are quite capable of programming their own entertainment line-up without network supervision. We’ll hear how they are building audiences: by creating and promoting engaging programming that’s truly can’t miss; by weaving in social TV to create participatory viewing; by using online to provide custom content and to reach new audiences; by partnering with brands to support new initiatives and extend promotional reach; and by developing unique shows that strongly position and differentiate the network as a Go-To entertainment brand.
