CNBC has acquired a documentary special from indie producer Generator Films.
The U.S. business specialty channel has acquired from Breakthrough Entertainment’s distribution arm the one-hour investigative doc Customer (Dis)Service, which examines the impact on consumers worldwide as major corporations outsource call centres to India and elsewhere to cut costs.
Breakthrough distribution president Nat Abraham also reports another American sale, this time the factual series War of the Wheels and Combat to MAV TV.
And Breakthrough also sold the kids’ series The Droogles and Swap TV to Dish Network/Blockbuster USA.
