Distribution 360 inks deals with Russia and the U.K.

Toronto’s Distribution 360 announced Thursday that it has closed sales for two of its lifestyle series, Puppy SOS and Ghostly Encounters.

Russian distributor Studio U7 acquired rights to both series for distribution in Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltics. Puppy SOS has also been licensed by Sky Living It (part of BSkyB) in the U.K.

Puppy SOS, produced by Calgary-based White Iron Pictures and L.A.-based Interior Day Entertainment, features dog behaviourist Brad Pattinson working with families to solve issues with their problematic puppies. The show airs on Slice in Canada.

Ghostly Encounters, produced by Wraith Films Inc. in Virgina, investigates the personal ghost stories and supernatural encounters believed to be experienced by ordinary folks. The series debuted on the W Network in Canada, and then was added to Viva programming slate, where it continues to air on what is now OWN Canada.
