HBO has cancelled Hung from Entertainment One.
The move follows a 10-episode, and a now final, third-season order for the dramedy from the premium U.S. cable channel.
Hung, which airs in more than 50 countries and on Channel 4 in the U.K., was cancelled by HBO, along with Bored to Death and How to Make It in America, to make way for new comedies like Luck, Girls and the Julia Louis-Dreyfus show Veep in the wings.
The half-hour Hung series stars Thomas Jane as a suburban high school basketball coach who turns to male prostitution.
The dramedy, set in Detroit, bowed in June 2009, and airs on HBO Canada.
Hung also stars Anne Heche, Jane Adams and Charlie Saxton.
