Sarafina DiFelice is replacing Karina Rotenstein as programming manager at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.
DiFelice has been promoted from associate programmer to a post left open after Rotenstein announced she was leaving the documentary festival on Oct. 14.
Her promotion also follows news that Charlotte Cook, a former BBC Storyville executive and Edinburgh Film Festival programmer, has been hired by Hot Docs to become its new director of programming, replacing Sean Farnel.
The 19th annual Hot Docs festival takes place next year from April 26 to May 6.
