Incendo finds Crisis Point with Rhona Mitra

Montreal indie producer Incendo is shooting another female-led TV movie, this time Crisis Point for TMN, Movie Central and Super Ecran, and starring Rhona Mitra (The Gates, Boston Legal).

Mitra is to play the role of Detroit criminal psychologist Cate Grainger, who removes herself from active service after a hostage crisis she looks to end goes wrong and a young man dies.

But Grainger returns to her old job when her sister becomes a hostage and the kidnappers demand that she negotiate the release.

The Canadian pay TV movie is being directed by Adrian Willis, and will debut in 2012.

Josee Mauffette, Jean Bureau and Serge Denis will produce for Incendo, with Stephen Greenberg and Jean Bureau executive producing.

Incendo is also in post production on Burden of Evil, another pay TV movie that stars Natalie Zea and portrays a powerful senator’s daughter kidnapped by a psychopath who demands a specific homicide detective head up the case.
