Mark Burnett’s latest reality competition series Expedition Impossible drew 1.5 million Canadians to CTV last Thursday night.

The series premiere, which aired at 9 p.m. ET, was the most-watched program of the evening, topping the 18 to 49 demo nationally as well as all key adult demos in Toronto.

Expedition Impossible is hosted by Canadian Dave Salmoni and follows 13 teams in a race across the Moroccan landscape to win a US$150,000 cash prize.

Series creator Burnett is also executive producer with Lisa Hennessy.
