Moses Znaimer’s ZoomerMedia has acquired around 250 hours of programming for its ONE: The Body, Mind and Spirit channel from its US counterpart, the lifestyle and wellness channel Veria TV.

Terms of the licensing deal were not disclosed as it looks to reinvigorate the Canadian specialty channel.

“Veria has an unparalleled television catalog relating to ‘mind, body and spirit’ and this agreement marks the beginning of ZoomerMedia’s plans to re-energize ONE with new content and a refreshed look,” Mark Prasuhn, chief operating and content officer at ZoomerMedia’s TV division said in a statement.

Veria and the Canadian One channel have already co-produced TV series, including The Incurables, about medical ailments that perplex doctors.
