Former Dragons’ Den star W. Brett Wilson is getting his own TV show.

The Calgary businessman on Wednesday will take the wraps off of his new TV series to bow in September 2011.

Wilson is tight-lipped about the new show’s details, but it will not be on the CBC, which airs Dragons’ Den.

Wilson’s publicist on Tuesday would only indicate the TV show is “a perfect vehicle for [Wilson] and he’s very excited about it.”

Post-Dragons’ Den, Wilson has been approached by a slew of Canadian TV producers pitching him on new series he could host.

One that appears to have caught Wilson’s eye is a Canadian TV show that celebrates philanthropy, a reverse Dragons’ Den, where the veteran investor gives away money to charities rather than invests for gain.
