Indie producer DHX Media has launched a new iOS app for its CBC animated preschool series Animal Mechanicals.

The Animal Mechanicals: Beetle Buggy Race app is selling on iTunes at $1.99, and has gamers leading Mechana-Fast Mouse on a mission to pick up Beetle Buggies scattered and stuck on, in all, five racetracks.

Animal Mechanicals, now in its third season on Kids CBC, also airs in the U.S. on The Hub, on Disney Channels in the UK and Asia, and Radio-Canada.
