Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche and Mathieu Amalric will be joining Robert Pattinson in David Cronenberg’s thriller Cosmopolis, eOne announced Friday.

Cronenberg both penned the script and will direct the film, based on the Don DeLillo novella of the same name. It’s set in the near future, following a trader being stalked as his fortune disappears. Principal photography is slated to begin in Toronto this summer.

Pattinson (The Twilight Saga) was the first actor attached to the project, with his involvement announced last month.

Producers on board include Martin Katz of Toronto’s Prospero Pictures along with Paulo Branco from Paris-based Alfama Films Production.

eOne will oversee distribution in Canada, while RAI Cinema SpA will distribute in Italy and Kinology in Paris will handle international sales.
