OMNI Television promises blanket coverage of Bollywood’s biggest party next June in Toronto.

OMNI, as official Canadian broadcast partner for the International Indian Film Academy, is to cover the glitzy three-day awards celebration from June 23 to 25, culminating with a Bollywood awards show from Rogers Centre.

Alain Strati, vice president of the OMNI Station Group, said the IIFA awards show pact extends the broadcaster’s Bollywood programming offerings.

That lineup will now include a new four-part series, Best of the IIFAs, and a Lisa Ray-hosted Bollywood’s Best Top 10 entertainment series.

OMNI also has extensive south Asian news coverage in varied local languages.
