The Toronto chapter of Women in Film & Television (WIFT-T) has brought on Heather Webb as executive director, effective February 28.

Webb’s replacing interim executive director Diane Williamson, who will continue in the position until later this month. Williamson had earlier stepped in for the outgoing Sadia Zaman in January.

Currently serving as the executive director of non-profit arts org Open Studio, Webb brings more than 10 years experience in financial operations and fundraising to her new role. Her time at WIFT-T will see her steering operations, strategic efforts and the direction of WIFT-T’s charitable division.
