Alana Langelotz will be taking over as the new chair on the Manitoba Film and Music (MFM) board of directors.

Appointed by Culture, Heritage and Tourism Minister Flor Marcelino, Langelotz is a familiar name among the local and national production world. She’s previously served as locations manager for Manitoba Film and South Development Corporation and also owns Winnipeg-based Arlan Public Relations. Other experience includes production projects for Lank/Beach Productions, Kessler Productions, CTV and Global.

Langelotz replaces outgoing chair David Dandeneau, who served in the role for the last four years.
