Indie producer Cineflix Productions is producing Nothing Personal, a six one-hours docudrama about the risky life of a mafia hitman, for Investigation Discovery.

The true crime story series is hosted by Steve Schirripa, who played Bobby Baccalieri on The Sopranos, and portrays a mobster who grew up in Brooklyn.

Nothing Personal, directed by George D’Amato and lensed by DOP Gregor Hagey, combines testimony from key informants, archival footage and interviews with justice authorities to uncover a web of danger and deceit in the crime underworld.

The docu-drama is the latest in the crime genre from Toronto-based Cineflix, which earlier produced Cold Blood for Shaw Media, Five in the UK and Discovery ID in the U.S. market, and True Crime Scene, for Discovery Channel Canada and Discovery Networks in Europe.
