Nickelodeon has joined forces with Montreal-based iPhone app developer Budge Studios to develop and publish children’s storybook apps for the iPhone and iPad based on its popular preschool shows.

Leading the way is Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure, which will launch on December 1 and feature a holiday-themed story, original songs and interactive mini-games. It will also teach Spanish, colors and reading.
