Indie producer Handel Productions is at work on four factual series structured as Canadian-British co-productions, including a 3D TV special on the demise of dinosaurs for Discovery Channel Canada.

Montreal-based Handel pacted with British partner Dangerous Films on The Last Days of the Dinosaurs, a 90-minutes special for Discovery Channel Canada, Discovery Channel US, Discovery Channel International and France 2.

Also before the camera is Earth: The Making of a Planet, a CGI production directed by Yavar Abbass, and produced by Alan Handel and Abbas.

The Canada/UK co-production between Handel and Pioneer Productions International has been sold to Discovery Channel Canada, National Geographic US, National Geographic International and France Televisions.

The third Handel production is Inside the Titanic (pictured), another co-pro between Handel and Dangerous Films that is tied to the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic liner.

Directed by Richard Dale, the Inside the Titanic docudrama is to air on Discovery Channel Canada, Discovery Channel US, Discovery Channel International, BBC Worldwide and France 2.

Handel and Dangerous Films are also at work on Bigfoot: The Global Mystery, an investigation into the Bigfoot creature for Discovery Channel Canada and History Channel US.
