Eugene Levy signs blind deal with CBS

Canadian funnyman Eugene Levy has signed a blind deal with CBS Studios to produce and star in an untitled comedy project for the CBS network.

The freshly-inked pact will see Second City alum Levy perform opposite Martin Starr (Knocked Up).

Executive producers on the U.S. project include Ben Feigin and Eric and Kim Tannenbaum.

Levy is also tapped to star in the Canadian indie feature Goon by Michael Dowse, opposite Jay Baruchel, as well as perform along with son Dan Levy on November 22 at the It’s Always Something fund-raiser to support Gilda’s Club Greater Toronto.
