Toronto’s Birchmount Entertainment has kicked off principal photography on Separation.

The thriller stars 2010 Gemini nominee Sarah Manninen (Navy NCIS, Keep Your Head Up, Kid: The Don Cherry Story) and Gemini nominee Peter Stebbings (pictured – Immortals, Cra$h & Burn, Defendor). Filming is underway in Beaverton, Ontario and will run through November 4.

Separation is written and directed by Birchmount’s Greg White (Angel, Sleep Lab), and revolves around the story of a young family who moves to a small lakeside community only to find out that they are being hunted.
