Veteran Canadian TV producer Stephen Stohn and radio broadcaster Bill Evanov are to be inducted into the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Hall of Fame, organizers said Thursday.
Also set for the same industry garland are rockers Randy Bachman and Fred Turner of Bachman & Turner fame.
The latest inductees will be honored March 10 at a gala during Canadian Music Week in Toronto.
A major Toronto entertainment lawyer, Stohn for 20 years was executive producer of The Juno Awards and a director and finally chairman of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, which runs Canada’s music awards.
Evanov founded and serves as president of Evanov Communications, an indie broadcaster.
