Knowledge Network picks up 70 hours from BBC

The Knowledge Network has picked up a raft of programming from BBC Worldwide Canada.

British Columbia’s public educational broadcaster acquired another 70 hours of drama, documentary, and history shows, including the first four seasons of the BBC drama Born & Bred, and seasons seven to nine of the cop drama Dalziel & Pascoe, to build on earlier seasons already on air.

The Knowledge Network, already a keen buyer of BBC fare, also picked up from the British pubcaster’s channels, licensing and publishing division the series Henry VIII: Mind of a Tyrant, Images of Conflict, a one-part special about war photographers, and the documentaries Fantastic Mr. Dahl and Love of Money, which centers on the financial crisis of 2008.
