Management and talent agency Integral Artists has acquired fellow Vancouver-based company King Talent.
King Talent’s clients and agents have joined Integral Artists, effective immediately, while King Talent owner Lisa King (pictured) will remain as a consultant. The agreement was negotiated by King and Ben C. Silverman, CEO of Integral. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
King, who has more than 30 years of experience as a talent agent, has represented clients in the feature film, television, theatrical and commercial spaces in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
“Lisa is a pillar of the film and TV industry in Canada,” said Silverman, who also serves as executive chairman of levelFILM and president of Vancouver-based prodco Timeless Pictures, in a statement. “We are proud to have this opportunity to work with her and her amazing roster of theatre performers and on-camera talent.”
King Talent represents professional actors across Canada, as well as in Los Angeles, New York and London. Its on-screen clients come from all genres of TV and film, including studio and indie features, and movies of the week, and have served as series regulars and recurring guest actors.
The agreement between the two companies comes after Integral Artists acquired Kathy Carpenter Talent Agency (KC Talent Agency) in December 2023. Under that agreement, the companies merged under the Integral Artists brand, with KC Talent Agency’s Kathy Carpenter and Lakeisha Hughley joining Integral’s on-camera division.
Both Integral Artists and King Talent are members of the Talent Agents and Managers Association of Canada.
