Toronto’s CCI Entertainment is teaming with Australian prodco Galaxy Pop for the animated series Get Ace. The co-pro will see both companies produce, with CCI handling international distribution. The series has already been signed to Network Ten in Oz.

Get Ace follows 12-year-old Ace McDougal, who experiences a series of adventures after being fitted with high-tech braces. The series targets six to ten-year-olds.

CCI’s library already includes shows such as Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs, Artzooka!, Monster By Mistake and the classic Sharon, Lois & Bram’s Elephant Show.

Galaxy Pop is based in Melbourne, and produced live action preschool series Rock It! for Network Ten in 2007.
